Encounter “Unable to get the Leave Scheme + Leave Group entitlement setting, record is not found” during leave credit

Symptoms:

Encountered the above message when creating leave credit for previous year for a re-join staff.

Possible Cause(s):

The previous year assigned leave scheme has been removed from the Leave Assignment, or the new effective date is set to current year.

Suggested workaround / solution(s):

1. If the assigned leave scheme has been removed, re-assign the previous leave calendar and scheme :
  1. Go to Leave > Leave Management > Leave Assignment
  2. Select the employee name
  3. Click on Assign Leave Calendar tab. Assign the Leave Calendar - Calendar Template and effective date same as previous assigned calendar. (Note: do not delete the current assigned calendar)
  4. Click on Assign Leave Scheme tab. Assign the Leave Scheme - Leave Scheme and effective date as per previous assigned scheme. (Note: Do not delete the current record)
  5. Click on “Submit” button
2. If the effective date is set as current year :
  1. Go to Leave > Leave Management > Leave Assignment
  2. Select the employee name
  3. Click on Assign Leave Calendar tab. Edit the Leave Calendar’s effective year to previous year
  4. Click on  Assign Leave Scheme tab. Edit the Leave Scheme’s effective year to previous year
  5. Click on Submit button
