How to setup weekly payroll

How to setup weekly payroll

Steps :
1. Go to Payroll > Paygroup
a. Click <New paygroup> and setup the paygroup for Weekly payroll
i.  Select <Weekly> for 'Frequency' option
ii. Select the appropriate currency for 'Currency' option
iii. Choose the require option for situation where the days in the week cross over to next month
iv. Set <Enabled> for 'Status' option


b. Proceed to generate the Pay period for the newly created weekly Paygroup in the next screen and click <Submit>

c. System will generate 52 weeks of pay periods for the Weekly Paygroup


2. Go to Payroll > Pay Assignment and assign the Weekly Paygroup to the employee


3. Setup Recurring pay if the weekly salary amount is fixed. Otherwise, just need to setup Recurring Pay for the employee if there is CDAC, SINDA or MBMF deduction. 

4. Setup the employee salary with weekly basic amount in Personnel > Remuneration > Salary


5. Once the above setup is done, proceed to process Payrun as per normal in Payroll > Action
