How to do cross company employee hierarchy?

Scenario:
How to assign Manager B from Company B to Employee A from Company A in the Employee Hierarchy?

Solution:
1. Go to Personnel > Processes > Employee Hierarchy.

2. Click on the name of Employee A company's hierarchy


3. Click on 'Graphical View' to check whether Manager B is in this hierarchy chart.


4. If Manager B is not reflected in Company A hierarchy chart, click on 'Back to Employee Listing'.  (If the manager is reflected in the list, refer to Point 5 direct)

     
      4a. Select Company B, locate Manager B and click on 'View' from <Up Line View>.
            
     
      4b. Click on 'New Manager'
                
      4c. Click on the drop down arrow at 'Manager' field and check whether the Reporting Manager of Manager B is in             the list. If is not, just select 'ROOT', meaning Manager B is the top level of this employee hierarchy.
            If is within the list, select the Reporting Manager and Effective date and click on "Create".
            (You may leave the Access scope level as 2 Level Access.)
              
5. Once the manager has been added into Company A employee hierarchy, you can assigned Manager B to Employee A in the same employee hierarchy.
    5a. Go back to employee listing, search for Employee A. 
    5b. Click on 'View' from <Up Line View>.
    5c. Click on 'New Manager'
    5d. Select Manager B and the effective date.
