How to withhold employee salary for Tax clearance?
Solution:
1. go to Payroll-->Payroll Management-->Pay Element and set the pay element that need to be withheld by ticking on 'Is Withholding Salary Element'
2. go to Payroll-->Payee Data, select the employee, Statutory tab, tick on "Enable Withhold Salary for the following period", and enter Period start and End date. (i.e, if you have entered the period start date as "Mar" and period end date as "Apr", system will withhold the amount for Mar and Apr.)
Once the Payrun is processed, "Withholding Salary" will be reflected in the Pay slip.
