Why is the Childcare leave entitlement showing as '0'

Symptoms:
Childcare leave entitlement showing as '0'


Possible cause (s):

1. The employee’s child information in the Personnel module is empty.

2. The employee’s child information has just being entered in system.

3. The staff/employee has worked in the company for less than 3 months

4. “Child Care Start from” option in Employee Record > Personal > Family, is not set to Children Birth Year

Suggested workaround/ solution(s):

1.  User need to fill in the child information in the Personnel module.

2. Next, go to Leave > Leave Group/Type> Click “CHILDCARE_SG > Click 'Refresh Childcare Entitlement' button.


The employee’s childcare leave entitlement should be reflected accordingly once the above steps are completed.

 

'CHILDCARE_SG' is a default Leave code in the system and entitlement will be auto updated in the following day once child information is being inputted. However, if you wish to see the entitlement right after entering the child information, you may go through the steps as provided above.
