Why the Leave group/type that has been created is not available for selected employee?

Symptoms:

An administrator has created a new leave group/type but not able to retrieve the new created leave group/type from the pull down menu (Leave group) under Leave -> Employee Leave -> Leave Data (Leave credit) for some of the employees.

Possible Cause(s):

The Leave group/type has not been added to the selected leave scheme yet.

Suggested workaround / solution(s):

  1. Go to Leave > Leave Management > Leave Scheme
  2. Select and click on the Leave scheme.
  3. Select the newly created leave group/type then click on “Assign Leave group”. Once click on “Assign leave group”, the set up of leave group/type (prorate, entitlement, etc) will appear.
