Symptoms:
An employee has applied leave successfully but the manager did not received any email notification(s).
The employee has checked that the leave is in pending state under Leave -> My Leave -> Leave Status.
Possible Cause(s):
Suggested workaround / solution(s):
For PC(1) :
a. Login in the system using the employee/manager account
b. Go to Preferences
c. Check if “Use my business email” option and personal email field has been
updated correctly
d. Update where applicable
a. Go to Control Panel -> Schedule Task
b. Right-click on the task named either “fepBkpro.exe” or “Frontier Email”
and select run
c. If the task is unsuccessful, the common reasons are:
i. Change of password of the user
activating the task
ii. Change of IP or server for the email server
For PC(4) - require Windows System administrator of Frontier eHR server to perform the steps :
