Encounter error when mass upload Shift roster Excel file
Managers upload their own subordinate shift roster Excel file but encountered error message: "Failed to import the shift roster due to this employee is not your subordinate"
Possible cause and solution:
1. Information in the excel file may have been entered wrongly. Example :
-> Company short name
-> Employee ID
2. Shift policy effective date assigned to the employee is after the shift roster date in the Excel file.
3. In Employee hierarchy,
-> the employee may not be assigned to this manager
-> selected the wrong employee hierarchy
-> Manager effective date is after the Shift roster date in the excel file
Solution:
For 1 and 2 - Check to ensure that the information that has been entered in the Excel is correct.
For 3 - Go to Personnel > Employee Hierarchy > click on the employee hierarchy name and check whether the employee has been assigned to the correct manager and the effective date is before the Shift roster date in the Excel. Also, ensure the employee hierarchy that has been selected did include the Time Attendance module.
