Error 'Unable to get the pay period, the record is not found' during Payrun
User encountered the above error message when he/she close the last month of the year via :
Payroll >> Pay Run >> Action >> Period Control tab
This error usually happens during cross over to a new calendar year and the following year pay period is not created within the system.
Suggested workaround / solution(s):
Go to Payroll > Payroll Management > Pay Group > Pay Period tab > select the Pay Group > click new Pay Period > Key in the year in Year to Generate > click Submit
