How to set the Data Security Level in Frontier eHR system?

There are two settings that need to be configured before the Data Access Level feature can be used.

1. Assign Data Access Level to Admin/Manager at Personnel > Processes > Access Right > Data Access Level tab.
2. Assign Data Security Level to normal staff at Personnel > Employee Record > Career > under Join Detail tab : Data Security Level section.

All staffs are assigned to Level 99 by default, meaning the Data Security Level feature is not activated in the system and the staff's data is viewable by any Administrators.

Some explanation about how the Data Access Levels works

Table A

Example :
Staff A, B and C are assigned to Data Security Level 4, 10 and 99 respectively at Personnel > Employee Record > Career > under Join Detail tab : Data Security Level section.

Administrator is assigned to Data Access Level 99, 6 and 3 at Personnel > Processes > Access Right > Data Access Level tab. (Note:  Need to login as Master user in order to assign)

Results:
a) If Administrator is assigned to Level 99, it means the Data Security Level is not activated for him/her.
==> this particular Administrator can only view Staff C's data and not staff's A or B

b) If Administrator is assigned to >= Level 6 (for Leave and eLeave), he/she can view Staff B data for Leave module only. The Administrator will be able to view Staff C's data or any other staff with Data Security level 99 if the Data Access Level assignment to the Administrator is between 1 - 15.

c) If Administrator is assigned to >= Level 3 (for Personal and ePersonal), he/she can view Staff's A and Staff's B data for Personnel module. This is because Administrator with Level 3 for Personal and ePersonal module will be able to view staff's data that are set with Data Security Level from 3 to 15 for Personnel module.
The Administrator will be able to view Staff's C data as per point B explanation.

d) If Administrator is assigned to >= Level 6 (for Leave and eLeave) and assigned to >= Level 3 (for Personal and ePersonal). The access rights for Personal and ePersonal will be same as Point c.
For the Leave module, t
he Administrator is assigned to >= Level 6, this means he/she can view Staff's B or any other staff whose Data Security level for the Leave module is from 6 to 15
The Administrator will be able to view Staff's C data as per point B explanation.
